Largest sugar producers set price at 47 rbl/kilogram until August
MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) – Russia’s largest sugar producers have set the sale price at 47 rubles per kilogram through July 31, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
"In accordance with the recommendations for trade policies for the sugar producers prepared by the Agriculture Ministry and the Federal Antimonopoly Service, 20 agricultural holdings have set the retail sales prices. The majority of producers decided to set the sales price at 47 rubles per kilogram through July 31, 2022," the ministry said,
According to the authority, the combined output of the producers accounts for 93% for the total production of sugar in the country.
